Problem: The problem is the hoarding tendencies of the husband and the effect that this has on the people around him. The hoarding causes him to be unable to get rid or change things of the past since he feels like he is losing something very valuable to him even if others may see the object as simple trash.
Who: The husband has the hoarding problem but this causes a problem for the neighbors and his wife. His refusal to get rid of trash makes his wife uncomfortable in her own home and his refusal to speak to a contractor about fixing or renovating the house is causing a problem for the neighbors in the housing market.

Story: A jury member came forward explaining that he along with other members of his jury were bullied into a guilty verdict by other members of the jury. The juror explains how even with no evidence that the jury came to a guilty conclusion because members of the jury had an ill will towards police officers and some felt that someone had to pay for the injustices done. The police officer had been tried before but there was no evidence that anything he had done in this case had been wrong according to the testifying juror and they are currently hoping for more members of the jury to step forward and agree that there was bullying going on.
Problem: The problem is that members of a jury were bullied into making a verdict that they did not necessarily agree with or even have a reason for making other than preconceived notions going into the case.
Who: The police officer and other people who may have been falsely accused are the victims of this problem. Jury members bullying each other removes the fact that the verdict is supposed to be determined based upon evidence rather than preconceived notions.

Hey,
ReplyDeleteI found your post interesting and enjoyed learning about all the issues local people are having. It was nice that you chose five completely different topics to write about as it made it more entertaining. Also I did not realize that Toy R Us was having financial difficulties, as when I was growing up, that was were everyone shopped at. I guess there is just so much competition now. Overall, I thought your post was insightful and enjoyed reading it.
